The Blazers came up just short in their opening match of the season. The offense struggled and got only 1 shot off in the match. The defense led by keeper Kylie Russell kept the Blazers in the match but the one slip-up was the difference in the match, the Blazers are 0-1-0.
8/24 Centralia CC 3, SW Oregon 0 Link to Box Score
The Blazers got their 1st win of the season with a nice little 3 goal scoring burst. Natalie Coleman led the break out game with 5 shots, 4 on goal and 2 goals. Gabbi Nowodworski got things going in the 15th minute when she connected on an assist from Amanda Jamison. That would be the score at the break. In the 2nd half Coleman put things away with her 2 goals with the first one being in the 62nd minute on an unassisted goal. She put the match away for good with her 2nd goal in the 73rd on an assist from Nowodworski. Keeper Haylee Perkinson got the shut out wiht 5 saves. The Blazers evened their record at 1-1-0.
8/26 Multnomah 2, Centralia CC 0 Link to Box Score
The Blazer offense after waking up in the last match went back to sleep. They only managed 5 shots and 2 on goal in the 90 minutes of work. Meantime the defense and the keepers Kiley Russell and Haylee Perkinson faced 12 shots on goal with each giving up one and combined saved 10. The Blazers drop to 1-2-0.
8/28 Centralia CC 1, NW Christian College 1 Link to Box Score
The Blazers Gabbi Nowodwarski popped in the 1st goal of the match in the 1st half in the 35th minute on an assist from Emily Tyner. That lone goal would stand to halftime and then looked like it might hold up for the win. But the overwhelming shot disparity finally caught up with the Blazers in the 75th minute. NWC had 22 shots on goal, 15 in the 12st half that Haylee Perkinson stopped all of them. One shot out of 7 in the 2nd half got by Kylie Russell and that was enough to tie the match. The Blazers are now 1-2-1.
8/30 Walla Walla 4, Centralia CC 0 Link to Box Score
The on goal shots kept coming in this one with another 22 at both keepers and each gave up 2 goals in their halves of play. Meantime the Blazers could again only manage minimal shots on goal in just 2. They drop to 1-3-1.

9/8 Tacoma 6, Centralia CC 0 Link to Box Score
Although the score doesn’t reflect this was a vast improvement over the previous match as the Blazers contested and held their own in the first half trailing just 1-0 at the half. They were still mightily out shot 18-3 for the game and those numbers finally caught up with the Blazers in the 2nd half as Tacoma tallied 5 goals to put away the match. A big scoring flurry of 3 goals between the 47th and 55th minutes was the difference in this one. Centralia now 1-5-1.
9/12 Pierce 2, Centralia CC 1 Link to Box Score
The Blazers put together their best effort since their tie and just missed. The Blazers Gabbi Nowodworski wasted little time pounding in a shot just 5 minutes into the match unassisted and took a quick 1-0 lead. But the lack of a sustained offense again hurt the Blazers as they were out-shot 17-4. Pierce got their first goal in the 45th just prior to the break and then scored the game winner was scored in the 76th. Despite the valiant effort the Blazers fell to 1-6-1.
