This last weekend, the NCAA Men’s and Women’s basketball tournaments began with the first two rounds of action. Despite the field being cutdown to 16 teams in each of those tournaments, there were still plenty of Washington state high school athletes that competed on the massive stage. Going through all 136 rosters, it was really eye opening on the range of schools that these kids went to from the PNW. From in state schools all the way to the Ivy League and everywhere in between, the great state of Washington is being well represented by some outstanding athletes.
