The Lincoln Abes used efficient three point shooting to defeat the Silas Rams 69-46. The win puts Lincoln in a tie with Silas with one game left in the regular season.
Lincoln came into the evening with a record of 2-7 on the road, while Silas was 1-7 at home. With Silas up a game in the standings, it was an opportune chance for Lincoln to jump back into the thick of a packed PSL Narrows Division.
The game began with Lincoln putting on a 3 point shooting display. Lincoln’s Gianna White hit a pair of three’s a part of 5 three pointers made in the quarter by Lincoln. The visitors led at the end of the 1st quarter 22-18. The second quarter continued to display an offensive showcase from the Abes perimeter shooting. Annique Smith led the offense for Silas, scoring 11 points in the first half. Emerie Kennedy chipped in with 10 points in the first half for the Rams. Jordin Palu-Pinkett converted on a trio of three’s in the first half. Lincoln led 42-28 at the half. The second half saw Lincoln able to rely on their healthy lead to the win. DaJanae Walker finished with a game high 21 points and was named our Elisportsnetwork.com MVP of the game with 21 points.

The win for Lincoln puts them in a tie for third place in the PCL Standings. Lincoln hosts Central Kitsap (6-9) on Friday to close out the regular season while Silas travels to face Bellarmine (13-1) that evening.
