Mat Classic 36 Tickets on Sale

The 36th Mat Classic will have a new look this year with no Regional tournament qualifying and going to 32-wrestler state brackets instead which literally doubles the number of wrestlers participating in this year’s  Classic event. They have added an additional day and the following schedule is how this massive event will be scheduled.

The 4A and 3A boys and girls will open the tournament on Thursday, February 20th and complete their tournament on Friday, February 21 capped off by the Championship matches.

The 2A, 1A and 2B-1B boys and girls will begin their tournaments on Friday the 21st and complete them on Saturday, February 22nd with their Championship matches.

This event even with the additional day is going to bring a lot more people to the dome and there is a likely sell out. So folks will want to get their tickets early and you can do so on the below link.

Tickets for the Tacoma Dome events are sold through Ticketmaster. This is part of the contract the WIAA must abide by to hold events in the Tacoma Dome and there is additional fees added by the Tacoma Dome ticketing system through Ticketmaster. The WIAA cannot get around the system in place at the Tacoma Dome. This is the same issue with the Spokane Arena when Basketball is there and for events at the Yakima SunDome. It is part of the deal to hold events in those facilities. So be prepared for additional fees on tickets for those venues.

All tickets at these venues for WIAA events are general admission with no reserved seating. Parking at these events also is under control of the venue and the WIAA has no input on how the venues charge or operate their parking lots.
