(Seattle, WA) The State of Washington is preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in style and on Tuesday The Seattle FIFA World Cup 26™ Local Organizing Committee (SeattleFWC26) announced they will be partnering with nine locations around the state who will host FIFA fan zones. The festivities will be at these locations:

Fan zone locations include:
●      Bellingham – Whatcom County
●      Bremerton – Kitsap County
●      Everett – Snohomish County
●      Olympia/Lacey – Thurston County
●      Pasco/Richland/Kennewick (Tri-Cities) – Benton & Franklin Counties
●      Spokane – Spokane County
●      Tacoma – Pierce County
●      Vancouver – Clark County
●      Yakima – Yakima County
The Local Organizing Committee is working with FOX 13 Seattle, a broadcast partner of FIFA World Cup 26™, to support fan zones across the state. Programming for fan zones during the Seattle FIFA World Cup matches may feature live entertainment, interactive fan activations, and food & beverage.

This opportunity allows soccer fans in Washington state to be a short distance from celebrating the largest tournament the world has ever seen. The North American World Cup 2026 will feature a record high 48 countries across Canada, the United States and Mexico.

Fans will be able to enjoy watch parties and cheer on some of the finest soccer talent the world has to offer. This is on top of the main World Cup interactive hub in Seattle Center.

Seattle will host the 2nd Team USA group stage match on June 19th, 2026, including three other group stage tilts, and two knockout round matches.

With soccer being put on full display in 2026, the state of Washington is setting the stage to welcome the world to the Emerald City.
