For us here at ESN it has been a very busy time with the holiday season so we figured we would just do a two-week recap for what happened in the last couple of weeks before we start the final week of the regular season. After Mark Westley pulled out back-to-back wins in weeks 14 and 15, the question was could anybody stop his reign of dominance.

The answer was an emphatic yes as we once again had a back-to-back week champion. Kevin Hamrick snuck out a week 16 win before dominating in week 17 with just one missed pick. Outside of the Giants defeating the Colts, Kevin ran the table and took up two of the open spots for the postseason tournament. He had already qualified with a runner-up finish in week 11.

Speaking of runner-ups, Wes Swick took home second place in week 16 before Mark Westley was back in the top two with a second-place finish based on the tiebreaker in week 17. All of the top two finishers in week 16 and 17 had already qualified for the postseason tournament. We have not had a new contestant qualify since Matt Evans in week 14.

Now we move into the final week of the regular season. It is always one of the most difficult weeks to make predictions based on players sitting out due to already clinching their seeds in the playoffs. Only two spots remain for Professor DW’s postseason tournament as well. The grand prize consists of a 55″ smart TV, a kegorator, a theater Popcorn machine and a neon sign of your favorite football team.

If you are wondering how the Professor’s holidays were…well he got season tickets to the New York Jets in his stocking. Somehow he found a way to get worse gifts than coal. We aren’t sure who the bigger disappointment is this season between DW and Aaron Rodgers?

The form is up for week 18 and there is no Thursday game. The deadline has been pushed back to Saturday at noon before the games kick-off at 1:30pm. Make sure to get your entry filled out and keep your eyes peeled for the postseason tournament next week if you have qualified.
