Today, NASCAR announced the Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series schedules with many different changes. The biggest change is that the Cup and Xfinity Series will be racing in Mexico City for the first time in mid-June. Another big change is the Xfinity and Truck Series will return to legendary, Rockingham Speedway in mid-April.

The Xfinity Series will come back to Portland International Raceway for the fourth straight year but with a new date. The race shifts from the first weekend in June to August 30th, which makes it the penultimate race in the regular season. It also makes it the second to last road course on the schedule, with the Charlotte Roval taking place as the cutoff race in the Round of 12. Pacific Office Automation will return as the sponsor of the race.

Another change in the Xfinity Series is that all of the races will be on The CW rather than on FOX and NBC broadcasts. The CW will broadcast the final eight races this year, including all seven playoff races.

Shane van Gisbergen won the Pacific Office Automation 147 this year for his first Xfinity Series win. Trackhouse Racing announced van Gisbergen will move to the Cup Series for 2025 and he will not be back in Portland to defend his win.
