2A/3A – In the 2A/3A tournament, it was University that was attempting to capture a three-peat. They made it back to the State Championship Game after two wins where University scored over 20 runs in the quarterfinals and semis. In the championship game, they squared off against a familiar opponent, Mt. Spokane. Mt. Spokane and University had played each other in the state semifinals in the previous two state tournaments and played a dandy of a game in the state title game, where Mt.
