BURBANK, WA — Goldendale won the last three sets to defeat Tri-Cities Prep volleyball 3-2 in the District 5 2B tournament. The Jags lost to Goldendale 3-1 earlier in the season, but despite falling behind two sets, the Timberwolves pulled out the top seed.
Taryn Rising lead the the Timberwolves with 22 kills and 18 digs. Six foot middle hitter Brook Blain added another 20 kills and 5 blocks in the victory.
Meanwhile, senior McKaila Balcom lead the Jaguars with 13 kills and six blocks.
