(Renton, WA) The WIAA Soccer selection committee released their state brackets on Sunday and below is a link and brief overview of each tournament.
4A Tournament

The 4A bracket has 16 teams with all the higher seeds hosting the match. Winners will advance to the quarterfinals and again the lower seed will host. The final 4 will be played at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup on May 27 and 28.
The 1st round of state will be played Tuesday or Wednesday and the quarterfinals on Friday or Saturday. The #1 seed is Pasco who hosts #16 Bothell in the opening round. The winner will play the winner of #8 Lewis and Clark vs #9 Camas played in Spokane. Union is the #2 seed and will host #15 Kamiak, the winner faces the winner of #10 Kennedy Catholic at #7 Skyline. #3 Wenatchee plays in the Apple Bowl in Wenatchee and will host #14 Tahoma with the winner getting the winner between #11 Issaquah at #6 Puyallup. And #4 Newport will host #13 Chiawana and the winner gets either #12 Eastmont who plays at #5 Bellarmine Prep. All matches are loser out until you get to the Semi-Finals where the losers will play for 3rd place on Championship Saturday.
3A Tournament

The 3A bracket has 20 teams and the 1st round is played either May 17 or 18 in a loser out play-in match. The 4-winners will advance to the 16-team state bracket. The final 4 will be played at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup on May 27 and 28.
The play-in round has #13 Gig Harbor hosting #20 Kennewick on Tuesday, #14 O’Dea at home in Memorial Stadium against #19 Auburn Riverside on Wednesday, #15 Edmonds-Woodway playing #18 Bonney Lake on Tuesday at Edmonds Stadium and #16 Seattle Prep taking on #17 Central Kitsap on Wednesday at Memorial Stadium.
The 1st round and quarterfinals will then be played on back to back nights this Friday and Saturday. #1 seed Mt Vernon will will face the winner of the C Kitsap/Seattle Prep play-in game and #8 Monroe takes on #9 Bainbridge, both matches played in Anacortes. The two winners will play each other on Saturday with the site TBD as of this writing. The #2 seed Lakeside will play the winner of Edmonds-Woodway/Bonney Lake match and #7 North Central battles #10 Peninsula with the winners playing each other on Saturday, no location is listed at this time. #3 Shorecrest gets the winner of the O’Dea/Auburn-Riverside match and #6 Mead plays #11 Hazen both matches at Edmonds Stadium, the winners play each other on Saturday at Shoreline Stadium. #4 Lincoln (Seattle) gets the winner of the Kennewick/Gig Harbor match while #5 Stadium plays #12 Mercer Island with winners playing on Saturday, all matches will be at Memorial Stadium in Seattle.
All matches are loser out until you get to the Semi-Finals where the losers will play for 3rd place on Championship Saturday.
2A Tournament

The 2A bracket has 16 teams with all the higher seeds hosting the match. Winners will advance to the quarterfinals and again the lower seed will host. The final 4 will be played at Tumwater District Stadium on May 27 and 28.
The 1st round of state will be played Tuesday or Wednesday and the quarterfinals on Friday or Saturday. The #1 seed is Columbia River who hosts #16 WF West in the opening round. The winner will play the winner of #8 Clover Park vs #9 Othello played in Spokane. Sammamish is the #2 seed and will host #15 Bremerton, the winner faces the winner of #10 Franklin Pierce at #7 Sehome. #3 East Valley (Yakima) will host #14 Fort Vancouver with the winner getting the winner between #11 Fife and #6 Squalicum. And #4 Burlington-Edison plays #13 Sequiam and the winner gets either #12 Tumwater or #5 Pullman. All matches are loser out until you get to the Semi-Finals where the losers will play for 3rd place on Championship Saturday.

The 1st round and quarterfinals will then be played on back to back nights this Friday and Saturday. #1 seed Toppenish will will face the winner of the King’s/Montesano play-in game and #8 Elma takes on #9 Highland. The two winners will play each other on Saturday all 3 matches will be in Toppenish. The #2 seed The Bush School will play the winner of Bridgeport/Columbia (White Salmon) match and #7 Lakeside battles #10 Wahluke with the winners playing each other on Saturday, at Sammamish High School. #3 Quincy gets the winner of the Seattle Academy/Riverside match and #6 Connell plays #11 Bellevue Christian, the winners play each other on Saturday all 3 matches at Quincy Jackrabbit Stadium. #4 Cascade (Leavenworth) gets the winner of the Vashon Island/Manson match while #5 Seton Catholic plays #12 University with winners playing on Saturday, all matches will be at the Apple Bowl in Wenatchee.
All matches are loser out until you get to the Semi-Finals where the losers will play for 3rd place on Championship Saturday.
