Winter state tournaments are right around the corner and the one that will kick it all off is girls bowling. Starting February 3rd, the 2022 WIAA/Gesa Credit Union Girls State Bowling Championships will take place for the first time since 2020. With the return of the tournament comes a new set of rules and a new schedule.
The biggest change is that now each classification will complete the tournament in one day. This means that the 3A tournament will take place on Thursday, February 3rd, the 1A/2A will be on Friday, February 4th and the 4A will close out the show on Saturday, February 5th. The doors at Narrows Plaza will open at 8 a.m. on each day. Spectators are required to wear masks while in the competition area.
