The WF West Bearcats turned away the Shelton Highclimbers last night in the EVCO 2A league opener 60-49. The Bearcats are now 2-2 on the season and 1-0 in league play. Shelton drops to 0-1 and are also 2-2 on the year. The Thorbeckes home team MVP went to the Bearcats Soren Dalan and the Pacific Sports Spa visiting MVP went to the Highclimbers Chucky Thompson.
