Washington Forest 10, At-Large Steel 5
Forest came up with a huge inning just when they needed it to double-up Steel. Trailing 5-4 going into the 6th inning Forest came up with 6 huge runs that Steel could not recover. Steel built their lead with scoring opportunities in 2nd, 4th and 5th. In the 2nd they scored 3 when Ava McPhillis singled leading off and that was followed by walks to Alyssa Oliver and Cate Wheaton to load the bases. Jordyn Wurzer then doubled scoring 2 and Alexis Clark singled for a 3-0 lead.
They added 1 in the 4th when Sami Flanagan singled and scored on a Wurzer single. Then in the 5th Clark led off getting hit by a pitch and would score on a pair of errors.
Forest was battling early scoring 1 in the 1st after Laila Smith singled there were 3 straight walks forcing in Smith. Forest brought 2 more in when Kaylei Clark singled scoring Allison Stanley who had walked. Clark then scored on an RBI single from Callie Crawford. Avaleis Wilson singled to lead off the 4th and Katelyn Kriete drove her in with an RBI single.
Forest then put together that big 6 run 6th inning beginning with a pair of doubles from Tori Smith and Alyssa Hoff who also picked up an RBI. Wilson then singled followed by a walk and Sac fly RBI. Allison Stanley then singled and another walk Clark picked up her 2nd and 3rd RBI with a single. The big inning was the difference in the game.

Oregon Royal 22, Washington Lime 6
Lime got a pair of home runs from Raychel Squibb until the final inning. Despite being down by 20, Lime then continued to battle with Squibb leading off with a hit by pitch followed by fielder’s choice. After 2 strike-outs Maleena Blunk, Grace Tanferani and Beth Bowen all doubled driving in 4 more runs.
Royal scored 5 in the 1st, 7 in the 3rd, 3 in the 4th, 5 in the 5th and 2 in the 6th. Teeghen Reems and Ellie Samford both hit home runs to help build the massive lead. Violet Loftus had 3 hits, along with Reams while Sopha Weathers, Heather Ebner, Samford, Sara Martin and Emma Sullivan each had 2.
