Wilson Sporting Goods Named Official Football of the WIAA

RENTON, WA, July 1, 2021—The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) today announced Wilson Sporting Goods as the official football of the WIAA. The new, multi-year agreement starts with the 2021-22 school year.

“We’re excited to welcome Wilson as the official football of the WIAA,” said Mick Hoffman, WIAA Executive Director. “Wilson’s proven ability to deliver outstanding products and service will be of great benefit to our member schools and student-athletes.”

“The WIAA’s dedication to young athletes across the state is tremendous and mirrors our own love of sports,” said Kevin Murphy, General Manager, Team Sports, Wilson. “We look forward to actively working with WIAA towards further enriching their football programs and supporting coaches and students as they pursue their athletic goals.”

The six-year agreement will run through May 31, 2027, and, during the term, WIAA member schools will exclusively use Wilson balls during the District football playoffs and the WIAA State Championships.

The WIAA has designated the following Wilson game balls for use in the District and State post-season tournaments. All are approved by the National Federation of State High Schools (NFHS).
