EVCO 2A Girls Basketball
WF West 78, Aberdeen 29
(Chehalis, WA) The Bearcats actually got off to a slow start and Aberdeen led right out of the gate but about 4 minutes in the WF West offense began to click with a lot of help from Morgan Rogerson off the bench who scored 9 in the 1st half. Chehalis would then go on a run and lead 21-4 after the 1st and then 38-14 at the break.
The Bearcats began the 3rd on a 9-0 run and would kick in the running clock with about 3 and half minutes left to play and would lead 67-18 after 3 and go on to win 78-29. Aberdeen got some scoring in the 4th quarter with 6 from Annie Troeh and 5 from Maddie Gore including a 3 ball.

Central 2B Boys Basketball
Napavine 64, Toledo 47
(Toledo, WA) Coming into this game Toledo needed the win to put pressure on Kalama who they trailed by a half game for 2nd place in the Central 2b while Napavine is looking to finish with a flurry to climb up the standings and are now a half game behind Toledo for 3rd.
The Tigers jumped out to the lead in the 1st quarter and never looked back with a 16-8 lead after 1 and a halftime advantage of 33-22. Napavine would not slow down in the 3rd extending their lead to 49-35 and finishing strong down the stretch for the 17 point win. It was an early run that gave the Tigers their initial separation with the game tied at 6-6 a 10-2 surge to the end of the 1st quarter was a deficit the Indians could never dig out of.
