WIAA..Spillin’ The Tea: How does Phase 3 Impact High School Sports?



(Renton, WA) Governor Inslee had come under fire from many sectors for not even revealing what the factors were going to be needed to shift from phase 2 of the State Health Covid Recovery plan when he surprised everyone by declaring the entire state would go to phase 3 on March 22. Phase 3 is not a fling open the gates and everything is back to normal phase, but it is a huge step forward especially for High school sports.

ESN had a chance to talk with WIAA Executive Director Mick Hoffman on how Phase 3 changes the game so to speak in a positive way for the rest of the school year.
