(Centralia, WA) The Eli Sports Network will launch a new podcast on Tuesday, May 26 and will debut on the ESN/NFHS Sports Networks. “Eli’s High School Report” will air every Tuesday with some additional shows slated some Thursday’s that are to be determined. ESN Vice President of Communications Will Gaethle says the new show will be focused on issues facing High School sports in Washington State. “We will talk with WIAA officials, District Directors even the Executive Director of the NFHS about how this next Fall could play out for sports. How schools can “re-open” sports safely. We will also talk about the proposed new basketball tournaments, some of the new rules the WIAA just passed and more.”
Gaethle adds that the show will also do interviews with coaches and players along with other guests. The hope is that no subject will be ignored regarding High School sports in Washington State.
The first episode is already planned and for sure we will talk with the Executive Director of the NFHS Dr. Karissa Niehoff about re-opening sports this Fall and what it may look like not only in Washington but around the country. We also will talk with District 3 Director Joe Keller.
