It is now OFFICIAL! The Eli Sports Network will be moving into a real office space this weekend where we will be installing a video studio for video production and audio studio for podcasting and ultimately live 24-7 on-line radio station or more likely stations.
The new ESN Studios will be on the 3rd floor of the Gibson House Building in Downtown Centralia
We are entering our 9th year and we’re excited to finally take this next step of moving out of a home based business toward our goal of a media company. The Eli Sports Network is known for our coverage of High School sports through our affiliation partnership with the national NFHS Network. We will continue to push ourselves to bring as many games and events as possible on to the webwaves of the NFHS and ESN but look for Eli to expand into other areas. We already have dabbled in collegiate coverage of the Centralia College Blazers and we hope to expand on our college coverage.
But don’t be surprised if Eli over the next several months and years you see EMN, the Eli Music Network or ENN, the Eli News Network. We can say you will begin to see new programming in short order that will include specialty programming and podcasts. More details will be forthcoming when we solidify our plans and agreements.
This is an exciting time for us and we look forward to adding more schools and hopefully districts to our affiliate menu to push our high school coverage as much as possible. We are also in the middle of re-newing a longer commitment with our parent Network the NFHS which will include even more Championship and Tournament coverage. We hope to add at least some Championship coverage to our line-up that includes Slowpitch, Cross Country, Golf and Tennis. We’d like to add these sports to our current line-up that includes Football, Volleyball, Soccer, Basketball, Bowling, Cheer, Dance, Baseball, Fastpitch and Track.
The new office and studios is a huge step forward for us and we hope it is simply the next step in achieving our goal as the lone dominant force in covering live high school sports in the State of Washington. As we introduce new programming and get our initial fall schedule up we will let you know and hope our supporters are just as excited as we are to move forward and appreciate spreading the word about the Eli Sports Network. Thanks to all of you, without your support we wouldn’t be entering our 9th year or be moving into a permanent location.
