Even though Eli Sports Network coverage is done for the season, there is still plenty of High School sports news to be reported. Here is a pair of stories from area sources and writers worth taking a look at, first, Woodland’s Olivia Grey was named the 2A State Fastpitch Player of the Year. The other story is WF Wests’s Brock Jones was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in this year’s MLB draft and has decided to skip college, he had committed to the University of Washington, and is now officially a pro baseball player with a hefty signing bonus in his wallet.
