(Tumwater,WA) There were several new meet marks made at the 54th annual Bob Shaner Track and Field Invitational.
Bryan Sidor of Aberdeen was the male athlete of the meet 22.40 in the 200 meters. 1st Place #2 in state 2A rankings. 49.89 in the 400 meters, 1st place. #1 in state 2A rankings.
And Timberline’s Keshara Romain was the female athlete of the meet. 19’00.5″ in long jump, 1st place, Shaner Meet Record, #1 in state 3A rankings, #2 in state overall. 37’09.75 in the triple jump, 1st place, #2 in state 3A rankings.
North Thurston’s Madison Vu blazed the 100 in 12.64 for the Gold Medal. Timberline’s Makenna Hansen and Ashley Babkirk finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Tumwater’s Rashaun Tate took the 100 in 11.22 for the Gold. Yelm’s Jame’s Palmer and River Ridge’s Dontae Owen’s finish in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
North Thurston’s Madison Vu kept up the pace in the 200 in 26.06 for 1st place. Timberline’s Makenna Hansen again close behind in 2nd and Faith Cardena’s with 3rd respectively.
Aberdeen’s Bryan Sidor zoomed into 1st with 22.40 for the 200 Gold. Capital’s Timothy Fisher and Olympia’s Will Anderson finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively.
River Ridge’s Freshman Taylor Woodworth sped her way in the 400 in 59.10 taking 1st. Aberdeen’s Faith Cardenas and North Thurston’s Madison Vu follow with 2nd and 3rd respectively.

NW Christian’s (Lacey) Senior Eliana Summers blazed the 800 in 2:25.67 for the Gold. Olympia’s Claire Fleckenstein and NW Christian’s Ava Shackell finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Black Hill’s Pearse Popchock took the 800 in 1:58.97 for 1st. Capitals Zach Willis and Olympia’s Tilahun Casto finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
NW Christian’s Senior Eliana Summers zoomed the 1600 in 5:24.93 for Gold. Olympia’s Claire Fleckenstein and NW Christian’s Ava Shackell finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Adna’s Austen Apperson sped into 1st with 4:21.20 for the Gold. Centralia’s Vance Voetberg and Black Hills Pearse Popchock finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
NW Christian’s Eliana Summers took her third win in a row in the 3200 with 11:54.62 for 1st. WF West’s Emma Moon and Olympia’s Kate Rigg’s finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Olympia’s Connor Griffith zoomed in the 3200 in 9:45.65 for the Gold. Olympia’s Zack Sundt and NW Christian Noah Phillips finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Black Hills Madi Frampton took 1st in the 100m Hurdles with 15.01 for 1st. Tumwater’s Felicity Hempstead and WF West’s Lauren Tornow finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Yelm’s Derrick Platt blazed the 110m hurdles in 15.15 for the Gold Medal. Black Hills Sir Carter and Capitals John Gerhard finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Shelton Freshman Victoria Silverman blasted through the 300m hurdles in 46.12 for 1st. Black Hill’s Madi Framption and Capital’s Regie Grady finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Black Hills Sir Carter charged into 1st in the 300m hurdle run with 40.34 winning the gold. Yelm’s Derrick Platt and WF West’s Jack Mallonee finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Timberline’s team took 1st in 51.09 for the Gold Medal. Shelton and Yelm finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Tumwater’s team took 1st in 44.09 for the Gold. WF West and River Ridge finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Capitals team took 1st in 4:08.38, followed by River Ridge for 2nd and WF West for 3rd.
WF West blazed to 1st in 3:27.44, followed by Capital for 2nd and River Ridge for 3rd.
Yelm’s Carissa Stovall chucked into 1st with 41-05.25. North Thurston’s Jasmine Pierre and Tumwater’s Kaylee Hach finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Tumwater’s Tyler Gilliliand took 1st with 51-03.50. Black Hills Xavier Bacak and WF West’s Joseph Wylam finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Yelm’s Carissa Stovall lands a second Gold Medal with 137-01 Discuss throw landing in 1st. Olympia’s Beatrice Asomaning and Capital’s Tia Grow finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Tumwater’s Tyler Gilliland also gains a second Gold Medal with 157-09 Discus Toss into 1st. Capital’s Elliot Gegen and Yelm’s Elliot Clary finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
WF West’s Kendra Bottenberg took 1st in a 125-00 Javelin toss. River Ridge’s Dasani Robinson and Olympia’s Camryn Wilson finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Black Hill’s Jordan Claridge took 1st in a 167-07 Javelin toss. Tumwater’s Tyler Gilliland and Black Hills Xavier Bacak finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Black Hills Maisy Williams flew in a 5-04.00 bound for 1st. Timberline’s Jessica Neal and River Ridge’s Ashlan Dunaway finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
WF West’s Colby White leaped to 1st in 6-05.00 for Gold. Tumwater’s Trent Kibler and North Thurston’s Donovan Fenwick finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
WF West’s Megan Flexhaug took 1st in the Pole Vault with a 10-00.00 bound to Gold. Tumwater’s Emma Stetler and North Thurston’s Audrey Olson finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
W F West’s Lafe Johnson took 1st in the Pole Vault with a 13-09.00 leap for Gold. Capital’s Ethan Au and Colby Wilson finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
