(Auburn, WA) The gates are ready to fly open and real horse power will rip up the Emerald Downs oval in a special Saturday night opening and it will all be topped off with a spectacular Fireworks show!
7 races are on the card as the Emerald season begins the 1st 2 weekends with just Saturday, Sunday racing and will go to their normal Friday, Saturday, Sunday schedule beginning on April 21st.
Eli Sports will again be covering the happenings at the track and we’re going to do it from a fans perspective. We’ll bring you some behind the scenes look at horse racing, keep you updated on the huge number of special races, events and promotions that have something for everyone from kids to adults. And our look into playing the ponies will be done from a semi-regular player.
What is semi-regular, well we will focus on picks and types of bets that are not too intricate and will look for interesting angles where you can take a shot at maybe a big pay-off while keeping a tight eye on budget. Larry the Sportscat will be putting out his selections and bets every time we head to the track to cover the races and you can find his selections here.
We will also be very active on twitter with live updates, pics and video plus video interviews with jockeys, trainers and the movers and shakers at Emerald Downs. It’s going to be a fun and great year at the track and we invite you to come along for the ride with us at ESN!
