10/1/16
(Camas, WA) A battle of two unbeaten teams, and both ranked in the top ten of the state. Two quarterbacks that combined for 705 passing yards. One quarterback also rushes for 108 yards. The ingredients for quite a showdown. That is what took place last night as the Camas Papermakers served notice on the rest of the Greater St. Helen’s League and the state in defeating the Battle Ground Tigers 49-28 at Doc Harris Stadium.
It didn’t hurt the Papermaker cause the quarterback Jack Colletto got excellent pass protection all night as he threw 7 touchdown passes as Camas stays undefeated going 5-0 on the season. Let’s not overlook Gunner Talkington for the Tigers as he also rushed for 108 yards.
The Papermakers will host the Skyview Storm next Friday night, and the Tigers will play Union at McKenzie Stadium.
