(Renton, WA) Saturday night Emerald Downs will make history in it’s 20 years by hosting a night card with first race post time at 6:30pm. This kicks off a big weekend of racing that culminates with the annual Wiener Dog races on Sunday. Sunday post time remains at 2pm.

Racing begins Friday night at 6:30 where a weekend long Equine Art Show begins then on Saturday morning it’s another Breakfast at the wire, your chance for a behind the scenes look at the happenings at the track. Then the first Saturday night racing will be conducted and continued on the 16th, 23rd and 30th. It’s also Ladies Night which includes free admission for Ladies, drink specials and a wine and chocolate festival.

On Sunday the Weiner Dog races return and the family fun event is always a crowd favorite. This year they have expanded the races to “Thoroughbred Wiener’s” and the Wiener Wannabe’s.
