Snohomish topples Camas in two overtimes 2-1…advances to second round of state tournament

(Camas, WA) It doesn’t make any difference what the sport is, you want to see a close competitive contest between two equally matched teams. That is what the fans at Doc Harris Stadium in Camas got to see last night.

At the end of the first half Camas led 1-0. At the end of regulation we are tied 1-1. No score in the first overtime.  Headed deep into the second overtime and Thomas McKeown’s shot some how finds the back of the net as the Papermakers are stunned for the second year in a row losing 2-1. I think everyone at the stadium last night felt we were headed in penalty kicks. I know a lot of the players had that on their minds.
