Semi-Final Matches
RA Long 2, Tumwater 1
(Tumwater, WA) This match was not a loser out but sure would make it easy for the winner with a trip to the District Championship match but more importantly would qualify for the State Tournament. In the 1st 20 minutes of the match the T-Birds would have a couple of good scoring opportunities but Parker Lemas would put on a tremendous fake but then miss an almost certain goal whiffing on the shot.
RA Long would break the ice in the 23rd on a goal from Jesus Cabrera-Rodriguez who pushed the ball just out of the way of T-Bird keeper Britton Fine and into the net for a 1-0 lead. Fine would then get a yellow card on that play, the official claimed Fine came out too hard trying to punch the ball out of the box. Coach Bartlett was not convinced on the explanation but in the end forced Fine to have to play a bit carefully. The Jacks would lead at the break 1-0.
RA Long would score again early in the 2nd half in the 43rd minute when Zachary Chesley fired in the shot to give the Lumberjacks a 2-0 lead. The 2 teams would battle the rest of the time with both making strong scoring runs but neither side could find the scoring combination. The closest came in the 63rd minute when Tumwater’s Austin Mikesh lobs a corner kick into the box to Caleb Whiteash who heads it straight into the goal but the Jacks keeper Jesus Radollo punched it out saving the goal and RAL maintained their 2-0 lead.
This would end up being the game winning play as Tumwater finally got on the board in stoppage time when Mikesh was taken down in the box and Dane Brizzolara scored the penalty kick. For his game changing play Jesus Radillo was awarded our ProActive Physical Therapy Play of the Game.
The Lumberjacks will advance to the District Championship against Ridgefield while Tumwater will drop into the consolation bracket and host Aberdeen on Thursday in a loser out. Our Tommy Lowe of Greene Realty Players of the Game were Jesus Cabrera for RA Long and Logan Hess for Tumwater.

Ridgefield 3, Mark Morris 0
(Ridgefield, WA) The Spudders bounced back after surviving against Aberdeen in the 1st round with a solid performance on both sides of the ball. Ridgefield will advance to the District Championship match against League opponent RA Long while Mark Morris will have to face Woodland on Thursday in a loser out contest.
Consolation/Loser Out Matches
Woodland 5, Black Hills 2
(Tumwater, WA) The 1st half looked like it might end up with 10 or 11 goals the way both teams began with aggressive offenses and 3 quick goals from the 8th to the 14th minutes. Woodland would strike first when Marques Lies laid into a hard shot and punched it past Wolves keeper Matt Braun and it was 1-0.
Black Hills would get the tying goal on a corner kick in the 11th minute on a corner kick from Gabe Ayala that went short into the box and Alan Kiers got a foot on it to knock it in past Beaver keeper Rafael Nunez for the 1-1 tie.
It was just 3 minutes later when Woodland would re-take the lead with a beautiful play by Brennan Lamoreaux on a break-away as Wolves keeper Braun came out to try and smother the loose ball, Lamoreaux would tip it past Braun for the easy tap in goal and it was 2-1 in the 14th minute. Both defenses then tightened up and both teams did have additional scoring opportunities but we ended 2-1 at the break.
The Beavers extended their lead in the 2nd half on a corner kick of their own in the 46th minute. Lamoreaux lofted a soft floating crossing shot and Juan Mosqueda found it square with his forehead and into the net for a 3-1 lead. Woodland struck again with their 4th different player to score in the 57th when Sebastian Martinez broke free on a run and ended up in a 1-on-1 with Wolves 2nd half keeper Ethan Lovett and poked it past him for a 4-1 lead.
The Beavers added 1 more in the 72nd to ice the game when Juan Mosqueda again would get into a break-away situation, pulled away and knocked in the 5th goal his 2nd of the match.
Nathan Kiers would score a late goal for Black Hills in stoppage time to make the final 5-2 score.
The Beavers stay alive and will face Mark Morris while the Wolves season has come to an end. Our Tommy Lowe of Greene Realty Players of the Game went to Woodland’s Brennan Lamoreaux and to Black Hills’ Alan Kiers. Our ProActive Physical Therapy Play of the Game goes to Beavers Keeper Rafael Nunez for a great double save in the 62nd keeping the Wolves at a safe distance.

(Centralia, WA) This was a high powered match-up with a ton on the line as the Bobcats flexed their muscles jumping out to a 3-0 lead within the 1st 46-minutes then held on tight to knock Centralia out of the Tournament and end their season. Aberdeen will next play at Tumwater on Thursday in a loser out contest.
