(Vancouver, WA) To say that Tyrus Hosley is on fire in his last two games would be the biggest understatement of this basketball season. Hosley has scored 60 points in his last two games, as the Evergreen Plainsmen advance to the quarter finals of the Southwest District 4 tourney with a 77-63 win last night over the Mt. View Thunder. The Plainsmen will play the Camas Papermakers at Camas on February 10th at 7:00 PM. Payton Monda chipped in 14 points via four three pointers and two free throws.

For the Mt. View Thunder, Trevor Green scored 17 while Jourdoun Bolds and Alex Hegel each had 13.

In other scores from last night Battle Ground defeated Skyview 58-48 and they will advance to play the league champions Union Titans. That game is February 10th at 7:00 PM at Union high school.
