(Vancouver, WA) On a day perhaps better suited for building a fire and grabbing a good book to read, the Skyline Spartans and the Mt. View Thunder hooked up in a loser out game of baseball at Propstra Stadium.

The Thunder coming off one of their best seasons ever would like to take a mulligan on this game for sure. Behind the strong pitching of Jack Simpson and reliever Conner Knutson the Spartans three hit the Thunder to win 4-2 and advance to next week-ends regional play-offs. The Thunder season ends with them being the league champs and district champs.

It was a very tough loss for starting pitcher, and league MVP Colin Biggs. It took Biggs three inning to finally get settled in, but by then he and the Thunder were down 2-0. They would never recover from that.
